Found this top at H&M, and it got me thinking about Lea Thompson and the movie "Howard the Duck". It's kinda 80s, kinda future, si-fi-ish; I like it!

Here are my favorite album releases from 2014: Gamma Ray's "Empire of the Undead" was released in April. I kinda love the whole album, so it's hard to pick any favorite songs, but "Pale Rider" was an instant hit with me. Judas Priest's "Redeemer of Souls" was released in July. I LOVE this album! It's freakin' epic! "Halls of Valhalla" and "March of the Damned" are my favorites, but I love all the tracks, even the ones on the bonus disc. Epicness! Unisonic's "Light of Dawn" was released on August 1th, the same day we saw them live at Skogsröjet. It was great to hear some of the new songs live. Kiske was amazing! But to be honest, I haven't really listened so much to this album, so I don't have any favorites. The whole album is good, but I need to listen to it some more to find my hits. Ace Frehley's "Space Invader" was also released in August. Great album! "Space Invader " and "Gimme A Feelin" are my favorites. I got this album for Christmas. It was released in November. It is really great, I love Joe Lynn Turner's voice. My favorite songs are "This Is Who I Am" and "Devil In Disguise". I didn't take many outfit pictures in 2014, mostly because I found it faster and easier to use Instagram to document stuff. So I have about 31 outfits from 2014 I'm gonna post in two parts.
I think it's safe to say that I've finally found my style; black, denim, band t-shirts, studs, leather... I love it! I haven't done many bad purcheses this year, so both my bank account and I are very happy about that, and especially my closet :) I love to open it and put together outfits, becuase I know it holds nothing but my favorites. Here are the first 15 outfits of 2014: A new year often, and normally means, a lot of new resolutions. I didn't set any goals for 2014, and I'm not gonna set any for 2015. I'm rather gonna make a promise to myself, to keep doing the things I love and that makes me happy.
Plans and rules are made to be broken, restrictions are not normal as we are born free. And disappointing yourself if you happen to fail, is just sad. So without any further ado, here are my promises for 2015: 2014 has been a great year; concerts, meet and greets, new friends, great movies and music and a lot more. Here are a summary from January to June in pics and words: JanuaryChristmas hungover as F@*k! Movies and music were the best medicine. Oh, and Gene Simmons re-tweeted me! Yay! :D And judging by the pics I chose to post, I was quite obsessed with studs and leather in January too! \m/ FebruaryWe saw Deep Purple live in Bergen, and we got to meet the band backstage. I've seen them live three times and met them two times before, but it's always fun. They are so nice, and the show was awesome. Age is just a number, the album "Now What?!" is great and the band performed superb! :) I was interviewd by Firebrand Rock Radio for a Grimskull interview. That was a new experience. I also won the Angels of Death t-shirt contest. And Motörhead posted my picture on their facebook page; Motörgirl \m/ Other than that my obsession with patches, battlejackets and band t-shirts expanded. And Pink Cream 69 of course. Most played music for sure, and Andi Deris was man crush Monday for Mondays to come! MarchI went home to see my folks. Digging up a lot of cool metal stuff from my old room: cassettes, vinyls and pictures. I also had a great deal of "photo shoots" trying on new Wicked Lester Clothing pieces and such. AprilWe saw Joe Lynn Turner live in Bergen and got to meet him backstage. Great show and cool dude! :) I colored my hair darker because TJ did, haha. Obsessing over patches, Holy Hell Designs and Gamma Ray's new album "Empire of the Undead". MayMy mom and grandmother came for a visit and we celebrated Norway's constitution day. Tj and I also celebrated our 9th anniversary. My obsession for Pink Cream 69, Andi Deris and everything old school metal continued. And Clint Eastwood! Watched a lot of Eastwood movies that month! And Skid Row liked my picture on Instagram! JuneWe saw Iron Maiden live in Bergen. Awesome show!
And I colored my hair red! I haven't been very active on my @rockeprinsessen account on Instagram this month. I've been much more active on @lotr_forever_always instead, sharing pics of my current obsession and fandom; Thranduil <3 and The Hobbit.
Here are the few pics I've posted on my @rockeprinsessen account - you can see there's a fine mix between rock and fantasy, haha :D |
