I've never shopped vintage, but this page might make me do just that! I love the style the Backbite gang has, and I follow almost every account on Instagram. There are so many cool jackets, band tees, Harley Davidson merch, and shorts made from band tees. There's only one of each, so they get sold our pretty fast, and I bet some of these items are already gone.

I've been a fan of Megadeth for almost ten years, started listening to Testament last year, and discovered Sepultura this year (I've heard of them for years, but haven't listened to them before now). I really like what I hear, and my favorite album is "Beneath The Remains" from 1989. I love the riffs, the raw thrash power blasting through the stereo. I'll probably never be a fan of newer, too extreme thrash metal, but old school thrash from the 80s and early 90s; bring it on!
Yesterday was Dave Mustaine's birthday, and today it's ten years since the album "The System Has Failed" was released. And it's ten years since I heard Megadeth for the first time. It was 2004, and I was fourteen. I don't remember how I discovered them, but it might have been through my best friend's brother, who played guitar and listened to thrash (at that point I didn't know what thrash was, all I knew was that it was heavy, and I was into metal, and I liked it). We were all about metal back then (still am as you can see/read/hear ;) and we were all about raising hell. Playing loud and proud was what we were all about. The first songs I heard were "The Scorpion", "99 Ways To Die", "No More Mr. Nice Guy", "A Tout Le Monde" and "Symphony Of Destruction". I listened to them constantly; I just loved what I heard. Since I'd only been a metalhead for a few years back then, there was a lot of bands I "needed" to check out, and Megadeth were gone (but not forgotten). But after being a metalhead for almost fifteen years, I know what I like, make that love, and Megadeth is one of my favorite bands. I got every album, every DVD, a bunch of t-shirts, a Megadeth battle vest, and I'm a proud Cyber Army member. Megadeth is amazing! It doesn't matter what moode I'm in; happy, sad, pissed or inspired - Megadeth got a tune for every moment. "A Tout Le Monde" is one of the most beautiful metal songs ever, and I wanna cry every time I hear it, because it really moves me. All in all they are simply the best! Dave Mustaine and David Ellefson are such a big inspiration to me. The music makes me get up and thrash every day my way, and I'm loving every minute! Thank you Megadeth, for being my life's fuel. Life is so much more real and intense with good music in your ear. Love life, thrash hard! \m/ I will be posting a lot of Megadeth posts in the future, there are so many good albums, songs, music videos and pictures I want to share. Megadeth till deth! \m/
I simply just love this mulit-talented man, no wonder I had to have this tank top with his picture on my chest. The closer the better ;)
