Cathinthecity.com recommended a blog on her blog today, and I was totally amazed by her style. And so pretty too. Another blog to follow :) You can find the blog here. And here are some pictures:

Back to work. Good to be back, both on the jobsite and at home. Tired of being sick and dressing like a slob.
TJ and I got things to do all week, and every weekend till Christmas. But it's fun to have somethings to do too, not just watching movies and tv-shows all the time. Yesterday we saw "Batman", and today we're going to see "The Hard Way" with Michael J. Fox. Got to go! Here's yesterday's and today's outfit: I just ordered a skull bracelet from Asos. I found it a couple of days ago. It's under a 100,- plus free shipping and no extra costs, so I can live with that :) I'm not much of a bracelet kind a girl... I use my watch, but that's kinda it! But this was so rock chic and minimalistic, I just had to have it :)
Tomorrow it's back to work. Looking forward to that. Sick of being sick, and just staying at home. Can't wait to dress up and put on some make-up, and post outfit pictures :) Now TJ's sick! I just hope I'm immune, so I don't get sick again. That would have sucked balls! Well, got to go! Here's a pic of the bracelet: As the title says: no dress without a sexy pair of heels! All the shoes are from Nelly, and the prices start at 299,- till the most expensive pair from Jeffrey Campbell at 1695,- I love em' all (what a suprise), but I think I got enough shoes for now. And the shoes I picked up at the mail office didn't fit, and was rather a downer... They shuld have had studs all over the place, but I already got a pair with studs that are actually walkable :) Well, well, here's a dozen shoes that are made for walkin' and partying: Colored heels are perfect if the dress is rather boring, or black. A splat of pink will add a sassy touch, and so will a pair of turquoise heels. Not to mention the purple sequin ones... Whatever shoes you pick; there are no rules! Be bold, classic or rock chic. Just learn how to walk in them, and your good to go! :)
I will do an accessories gudie too - this is fun! :) Been browsing Nelly after some killer dresses for you guys. I love to dress up, to bad I don't have many occasions to do that... But next weekend it's on like donkey kong! LBD, sequin pumps and shiny accessories! Can't wait! :) Anyway, this is the season to dress up and be stylish. Party with co-workers, with your family, and what about new years eve? Bring on the glamour and shine like a star! Here's some dresses for you: Pink dress from Vila/ Shiny dress from Vila/ Black dress from Vila Hmmm... Think I got a thing for Vila clothes, it was just a quinsidence that all the dresses I picked were from Vila, but they sure know their stuff! Gold sequin dress from Sequin Mania/ Silver sequin dress from cutie/ Black sequin dress from Oneness What can I say? I LOVE sequins, and I want them all, but I bought a gold sequin dress when I was in Førde and I can't wait to wear it! Long leopard dress from TFNC/ Short leopard dress from AX Paris/ Black and leopard dress from Awear I've always loved leopard print, and it will always be sexy and in with this kinda print. Just make sure you don't look too tacky... Black pantyhose, and maybe a blazer is very right to wear with this kinda dress. Silver dress from Forever Unique/ Brown sequin dress drom French Connection/ Black glitter dress from Forever Unique
These dresses are maybe a little bit way out of my price range, but oh so pretty. So if you're feeling like a hot shot, go for it! :) I hope you liked my dress guide. I'm gonna post some "how to get ready for a party" tips too. Stay tuned! After walking around and feeling like a slob all week it was like a dream come true to get my hair done today. I wanted to added some highlights and lowlights, and cut off the slip ends, and learn how to style it with with a hair straightener. I love the result, and I think I will be playing more with hair up-does in the future, at least some exiting styling, not just the poker straight look. Here's a few pics (the highlights and lowlights doesn't show that good in the photos, hope to get some better pictures outside some other time):
I thought I should try something new here on the blog called "get the look". I've seen it on other blogs, and I thought it would be fun to make collages like that, so here's my first shot: Earrings from syster P/ Watch from Michael Kors/ White nailpolish from O.P.I/ Black nailpolish from O.P.I/ Bracelet from Sophie from Sophie/ Green ring from Dobb.no/ Silver ring from Pearls for Girls/ White lace dress from Designersmarket
A week ago I saw these amazing shoes at another blog, so I pressed on the link and ordered them right home. I don't pass on heels, studs and leather! End of discussion! They're at the post office waiting for me, and tomorrow I'm bringing them home :) Can't wait!
I'm so in looove with my new pumps. They are so pretty, and they fit perfectly! I can't wait to wear them! As for now they're in my closet, sparkling everytime I open the door (not very often though... Been walkin' around in my sweatpants for almost a week now... Blah!). Anyway... I had to make room for my new shoes, so I re-organized my shoe collection, and I got 15 pairs of shoes only in my bedroom! OMG! I'm a shoe fanatic! And I got another pair waiting for me at the mail office... What can I say; a girls gotta have her shoes! My dream is to get a bookshelf for my shoes, so I can line em' up and have em' on display. One day maybe, when we got a bigger place :)
Here's a couple of pics of my new darlings: What do you do when you got a little too much time on your hands? Spend it wisely! I've been going through many magazines and old articles I've been saving, and I've been scrapbooking and adding new pictures to my inspo wall in my closet. I just can't believe how much stuff I've been saving up in files and drawers the last couple of years. It's all old news now, and everything is online anyway. So I've been throwing out a lot of junk, and only saving stuff that is still inspiring me. If TJ and I are going to move to something bigger in the future, I'm saving us (me) a lot of work. I think I must be more though about what I decide to hold on to. I never dig up old dirt, there is always something new. And like I said, most of it is online.
So that's been my sitting still, taking it easy activity for the last couple of days. And we've been watching a lot of movies. I'm so hooked on action movies like G.I. Joe, Iron Man and Spider-Man these days. Looking forward to Real Steal and The Avengers. Well, here's some scrapbook/inspo wall pictures: |
